On Tuesday 15th September, we are taking part in the Heritage Open Days festival, making heritage, community and history accessible for all.

We have just 150 free Heritage Open Day tickets available to book online. These will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis once theyre gone, theyre gone!

Whats included?

Your Heritage Open Day ticket gives you admission to the Castle, Park and Gardens on Tuesday 15 September.

• Free-flow access to the Castle, with the option to purchase our Smartify audio tour
• Explore the Adventure Playground
• Set off on a walk around the lake and woodland
• Relax and enjoy a picnic in the gardens
• Browse our pop-up shop in the Vaulted Hall
• Visit our usual Farm Shop and enjoy delicious refreshments from The March Hare

Important ticket information

• 1 ticket = 1 admission. 2 tickets maximum per booking (if you would like to book more than 2 tickets, please refresh the page and do so on separate bookings).
• All free tickets must be booked online in advance and will not be available to purchase on arrival
• Once all 150 free tickets have been claimed, normal-priced tickets will still be available to purchase online and on arrival
• Free tickets are strictly limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis once theyre gone, theyre gone!
• Historic Houses passes and Season Tickets are still accepted as usual on this day
• All HOD ticket holders will be asked to sign up to our online newsletter
